Never Underestimate the Power of Prayer
Today is Sunday, November 17th, 2024. Last week, my daughter and son-in-law went to visit my grandson. My daughter asked me to spend the weekend with my 15-year-old granddaughter, as she needed rides to and from school and practice on Saturday. Naturally, I happily agreed. I realize I don’t get to see my grandchildren often, especially the teenagers, and it’s crucial to foster those relationships. I have prayed for my grandchildren even before they were born, and it’s remarkable how God manifests through the power of prayer.
We all know that young people often focus on partying, hanging out with friends, and listening to music that doesn’t always uplift them. However, a few days ago, I discovered that my granddaughter enjoys reading the Bible and wants to deepen her relationship with God. Hearing this filled me with joy, as it can only lead her toward a more fulfilling path as she connects with her higher power. I’ve come to realize that the more time we spend together, the closer we become. This morning, we shared breakfast and enjoyed meaningful conversations about the past, her goals, and dreams. We also listened to Joel Osteen preach about “Dealing with Negative Thoughts.”
My grandchildren are all involved in sports and, like most kids, dedicate a significant amount of time to their studies. This semester, my granddaughter achieved an impressive grade point average of 4.43! Such success doesn’t happen by chance; it reflects her priorities. While no one is perfect, I can assure you that prayer plays a significant role in this. It is said that the prayers of parents, especially those of mothers and grandmothers, are incredibly powerful. Therefore, my advice is to pray for our children, as well as for your future unborn children and grandchildren.
I hope you found today’s message profoundly valuable. Thank you for reading and sharing my blog with your family and friends!
